Common Questions About Concrete

  • How long should caution tape and cones remain in place?

    We ask that you allow 7 to 10 days.  The longer the better!

  • How thick is a residential driveway?

    A standard driveway is 4" in thickness and

    designed for normal residential vehicle traffic.  Use of your driveway for nonresidential purposes, such as trucks and/or delivery vehicles, may result in crack development.  We would recommend 6" or greater.

  • Can salt or any deicers be used on concrete?

    NO. Never apply salt or any for of deicer upon concrete.  Sand is recommended.

  • What is your warranty?

    We will only warranty our workmanship and quality of materials at the time of installation. Discoloration may occur.  Not responsible for any surface blemishes or stains.  Concrete does crack and chip.  We do not like it either but in most cases, it is bound to happen.  We do everything we can to control cracking, by installing control joints or saw cuts, but there is NO GUARANTEE that concrete will not crack in other places.
